Uses

Used for treatment of hypertension and reduction of cardiovascular risk in selected patients unable to take ACE inhibitors.

Do not use if

Contraindicated in hypersensitivity to telmisartan. Avoid coadministration with aliskiren in patients with diabetes.

May cause dizziness, diarrhea, back pain, sinusitis, and renal function changes.

Can cause fetal harm during pregnancy. Monitor renal function and potassium levels in susceptible patients.

Angiotensin II receptor blocker that reduces vasoconstriction and aldosterone-mediated effects, lowering blood pressure.

Store at room temperature in the original package protected from moisture.
