Uses

Used as an intravenous source of water, electrolytes, and calories and for fluid replacement therapy.

Do not use if

Contraindicated in patients with hypersensitivity to components and in neonates receiving ceftriaxone-containing therapy.

May cause electrolyte disturbances, fluid overload, hypersensitivity reactions, or infusion-related complications.

Monitor electrolyte concentrations and fluid status closely, especially in patients with renal impairment.

Provides glucose-derived energy and essential electrolytes for maintenance of fluid and electrolyte balance.

Store according to product labeling and avoid freezing.
