Uses
Used during controlled ovarian stimulation to prevent premature luteinizing hormone surges in women undergoing assisted reproductive procedures.
Do not use if
Contraindicated in pregnancy, breastfeeding, severe renal impairment, and hypersensitivity to cetrorelix, GnRH analogs, or formulation components.
Side effects
Common effects include injection-site reactions, headache, nausea, and abdominal discomfort. Ovarian hyperstimulation syndrome may occur.
Warnings
Treatment should be supervised by fertility specialists. Pregnancy should be excluded before starting therapy.
How it works
