Used for oral rehydration and replacement of fluids and electrolytes.

Do not use if

Contraindicated in conditions requiring restricted electrolyte intake unless medically advised.

Generally well tolerated; excessive intake may cause nausea or bloating.

Medical assessment is needed if dehydration is severe.

Restores fluid and electrolyte balance through glucose-facilitated sodium absorption.
