Uses

Used for severe nausea and vomiting and for certain psychotic disorders including schizophrenia.

Do not use if

Hypersensitivity to phenothiazines, coma, or severe CNS depression.

Drowsiness, dizziness, hypotension, blurred vision, and extrapyramidal symptoms may occur.

Elderly patients with dementia-related psychosis have increased mortality risk with antipsychotics.

Phenothiazine derivative with antiemetic and antipsychotic properties.

Store at room temperature and protect from excessive heat.
