Do not use if
Contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to rutoside or other bioflavonoids. Safety in pregnancy has not been fully established.
Side effects
Generally well tolerated. Rare adverse effects include gastrointestinal disturbances, headache, and flushing. Allergic skin reactions are uncommon.
Warnings
Use with caution in patients on anticoagulant therapy. Patients with gastrointestinal disorders should consult a physician before use. Discontinue if hypersensitivity reactions develop.
How it works
Rutoside is a bioflavonoid glycoside that reduces capillary permeability and fragility by stabilizing endothelial cell membranes. It has anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties and improves venous tone. It also inhibits platelet aggregation and reduces blood viscosity.
Storage
Store below 25°C in a dry place, protected from light. Keep out of reach of children.
