Uses

This topical combination gel is used for localized relief of mild musculoskeletal pain, arthritis, and minor sports injuries. The constituents produce counter-irritant, cooling, and mild analgesic effects on the skin.

Do not use if

Contraindicated on broken, inflamed, or infected skin. Should not be used in children under 2 years of age or applied near the face or nostrils of infants due to risk of respiratory depression with menthol and camphor.

Side effects

Local skin irritation, redness, or burning sensation may occur. Hypersensitivity reactions are rare but possible. Avoid contact with eyes and mucous membranes.

Warnings

For external use only. Keep away from eyes and open wounds. Camphor and menthol can be toxic if ingested or applied over large areas in infants.

How it works

Camphor and menthol act as counter-irritants and TRPM8/TRPV1 channel modulators producing cooling and analgesic sensations. Clove oil contains eugenol with local anesthetic and anti-inflammatory properties. Peppermint oil provides additional cooling. Paraffin oil serves as the vehicle and emollient. Vitamin E offers antioxidant skin protection.

Store below 25°C away from heat and direct sunlight. Keep tightly closed.
