Used for severe nodular acne that has not responded adequately to conventional therapy.

Do not use if

Contraindicated during pregnancy and in patients with hypersensitivity to isotretinoin or related retinoids.

Dry skin, cheilitis, dry eyes, elevated lipids, musculoskeletal pain, and liver enzyme elevations may occur.

Highly teratogenic and can cause severe birth defects. Strict pregnancy prevention measures are essential.

Retinoid that reduces sebaceous gland activity, sebum production, and abnormal keratinization.

Store at 20–25°C and protect from light.
