Uses

Used for selected cancers and certain conditions associated with tuberous sclerosis complex. It is also used as an immunosuppressive agent in specific settings.

Do not use if

Contraindicated in patients with clinically significant hypersensitivity to everolimus or other rapamycin derivatives.

Side effects

Stomatitis, infections, rash, fatigue, pneumonitis, and metabolic abnormalities may occur.

Warnings

Monitor for infections, non-infectious pneumonitis, renal dysfunction, and hematologic abnormalities.
