Uses
Leucovorin calcium is used to reduce toxicity from folate antagonists and as part of selected oncology treatment protocols.
Do not use if
Hypersensitivity to leucovorin or any component of the formulation.
Side effects
May cause nausea, allergic reactions, insomnia, or gastrointestinal disturbances.
Warnings
Not suitable as sole treatment for pernicious anemia or vitamin B12 deficiency.
