Uses
Used for bronchospasm associated with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease and as a bronchodilator in obstructive airway disorders.
Do not use if
Contraindicated in patients with hypersensitivity to ipratropium, atropine derivatives, or formulation components.
Side effects
Dry mouth, cough, headache, throat irritation, and dizziness may occur.
Warnings
Paradoxical bronchospasm may occur and requires immediate discontinuation. Avoid contact with the eyes.
