Uses

Used for active immunization against tetanus and prevention of tetanus disease.

Do not use if

Contraindicated in patients with severe allergic reaction to a previous dose or vaccine component.

Injection-site pain, redness, swelling, fever, and fatigue may occur.

Postpone vaccination during severe acute illness when appropriate.

Stimulates active immune response and production of protective antibodies against tetanus toxin.

Store refrigerated at 2–8°C. Do not freeze.
