Uses

Low molecular weight heparin used for prevention and treatment of thromboembolic disorders and selected cardiovascular conditions.

Do not use if

Active major bleeding, history of heparin-induced thrombocytopenia, or hypersensitivity to dalteparin.

May cause bleeding, thrombocytopenia, injection-site reactions, and anemia.

Risk of spinal or epidural hematoma may increase during neuraxial procedures.

Enhances antithrombin activity, predominantly inhibiting factor Xa and reducing clot formation.

Store at 20–25°C. Protect from inappropriate temperatures.
