Uses

Used for prevention and treatment of deep vein thrombosis and pulmonary embolism.

Do not use if

Active major bleeding, severe renal impairment, bacterial endocarditis, or hypersensitivity.

Bleeding, anemia, injection-site reactions, and thrombocytopenia may occur.

Serious bleeding and spinal or epidural hematomas may occur, especially with neuraxial procedures.

Selective indirect Factor Xa inhibitor that enhances antithrombin-mediated anticoagulation.

Store at controlled room temperature according to product labeling.
