Uses

Used as vitamin B3 supplementation and, at therapeutic doses, for management of certain lipid disorders.

Do not use if

Active liver disease, severe gout, severe hypotension, or hypersensitivity.

Flushing, itching, gastrointestinal upset, elevated liver enzymes, and hyperglycemia may occur.

Monitor liver function, glucose levels, and uric acid during prolonged therapy.

Vitamin B3 derivative that affects lipid metabolism and reduces triglycerides at higher doses.

Store at room temperature.
