Uses

Used for prevention and treatment of iron deficiency anemia. May be used during periods of increased iron requirements such as pregnancy.

Do not use if

Hypersensitivity to iron products, iron overload disorders, or certain hemolytic anemias.

May cause nausea, constipation, diarrhea, abdominal discomfort, or dark stools.

Accidental overdose may be fatal in young children. Keep out of reach of children.

Provides elemental iron required for hemoglobin synthesis and red blood cell production.

Store at room temperature and keep out of reach of children.
