Used in specific forms of prostate cancer, including non-metastatic and metastatic castration-sensitive disease.

Do not use if

Hypersensitivity to apalutamide or formulation components.

Fatigue, rash, hypertension, falls, fractures, and hot flushes may occur.

Requires specialist supervision. Monitor for cardiovascular, skeletal, and neurological adverse effects.

Apalutamide is a nonsteroidal androgen receptor inhibitor that blocks androgen signaling in prostate cancer cells.
