Uses

Antiandrogen used with LHRH agonists in the management of prostate cancer.

Do not use if

Severe hepatic impairment, hypersensitivity to flutamide or formulation components.

May cause gynecomastia, hot flashes, diarrhea, liver abnormalities, and reduced libido.

Monitor liver function closely due to the risk of serious hepatic injury.

Blocks androgen action in target tissues and reduces stimulation of androgen-sensitive tumors.

Store at 20–25°C in a tight, light-resistant container.
