Used to manage anorexia, cachexia, and significant weight loss in selected patients.

Do not use if

Hypersensitivity to megestrol acetate and known or suspected pregnancy.

Weight gain, edema, hypertension, and gastrointestinal symptoms may occur.

May cause fetal harm and should be avoided during pregnancy.

Synthetic progestin with appetite-stimulating effects.

Store at room temperature and protect from extreme temperatures.
