Uses

Used as a short-term adjunct to rest and physical therapy for relief of acute painful musculoskeletal muscle spasm.

Do not use if

Contraindicated with MAO inhibitors, during acute recovery after myocardial infarction, and in certain cardiac arrhythmias.

Drowsiness, dry mouth, fatigue, dizziness, and headache may occur.

May cause sedation and serotonin syndrome when combined with serotonergic medications.

Centrally acting skeletal muscle relaxant that reduces muscle hyperactivity without directly affecting muscle function.

Store at room temperature.
