Uses
Used to prevent or treat folate deficiency and support normal red blood cell formation. May be used when an active form of folate supplementation is preferred.
Do not use if
Hypersensitivity to the ingredient or formulation components.
Side effects
Usually well tolerated. Mild gastrointestinal discomfort, headache, or irritability may occur.
Warnings
Vitamin B12 deficiency should be excluded when treating megaloblastic anemia.
