Uses

Ultra-micronized PEA (um-PEA) is used for the management of chronic and neuropathic pain, including sciatic pain, fibromyalgia-related pain, and neuroinflammatory conditions. Its enhanced particle size improves bioavailability.

Do not use if

Contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to PEA or any excipients. Caution is advised during pregnancy and lactation due to limited safety data.

Side effects

Generally well tolerated. Mild gastrointestinal discomfort may occur. No significant organ toxicity or serious adverse effects have been reported in clinical studies.

Warnings

Not recommended as a substitute for prescribed analgesics in severe pain conditions without physician guidance. Keep out of reach of children.

How it works

Ultra-micronized PEA achieves greater mucosal absorption than standard PEA. It activates PPAR-α, modulates mast cell and microglial activity, and reduces pro-inflammatory cytokine release in neuronal and peripheral tissues, producing analgesic and neuroprotective effects.
