Uses

Topical antifungal used for dermatophyte infections, cutaneous candidiasis, and tinea versicolor.

Do not use if

Contraindicated in patients with hypersensitivity to econazole or any component of the formulation.

Burning, itching, stinging, redness, and local skin irritation may occur.

For topical use only and not for ophthalmic application.

An imidazole antifungal that inhibits ergosterol synthesis and disrupts fungal cell membranes.

Store at 20–25°C.
