Uses

Used historically for bronchospasm and respiratory symptoms associated with airway obstruction.

Do not use if

Hypersensitivity, severe cardiac disease, or significant respiratory depression.

Drowsiness, dizziness, palpitations, nausea, and nervousness may occur.

May impair alertness and interact with other central nervous system depressants.

Combines bronchodilator and antihistaminic actions with sedative effects from phenobarbital.

Store at room temperature.
