Uses
Used for procedural sedation, anxiolysis, anesthesia induction, and seizure control in selected settings.
Do not use if
Contraindicated in hypersensitivity to benzodiazepines and acute narrow-angle glaucoma.
Side effects
May cause respiratory depression, drowsiness, amnesia, hypotension, and apnea.
Warnings
May cause life-threatening respiratory depression and requires appropriate monitoring.
