Uses
Used in the treatment of infertility to stimulate follicular development and ovulation in women and spermatogenesis in selected men.
Do not use if
Contraindicated in pregnancy, uncontrolled endocrine disorders, and hypersensitivity to gonadotropins.
Side effects
Injection-site reactions, headache, abdominal pain, ovarian enlargement, and nausea may occur.
Warnings
May cause ovarian hyperstimulation syndrome and multiple pregnancy.
