Uses

Used for herpes simplex infections, genital herpes, herpes zoster, and chickenpox.

Do not use if

Contraindicated in patients with hypersensitivity to acyclovir or valacyclovir.

Nausea, vomiting, headache, diarrhea, and dizziness may occur.

Maintain adequate hydration, especially with high-dose or intravenous therapy.

Antiviral nucleoside analogue that inhibits viral DNA replication.

Store at room temperature in the original container.
