Uses

Used for treatment of signs and symptoms of benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH).

Do not use if

Contraindicated in severe renal impairment, severe hepatic impairment, hypersensitivity, and with strong CYP3A4 inhibitors.

Retrograde ejaculation, dizziness, diarrhea, headache, and orthostatic hypotension may occur.

May cause postural hypotension and dizziness, especially at treatment initiation.

Selective alpha-1A adrenergic receptor antagonist that relaxes smooth muscle in the prostate and bladder neck.

Store at room temperature.
