Uses

Used for symptomatic treatment of irritable bowel syndrome and gastrointestinal smooth muscle spasm.

Do not use if

Contraindicated in patients with hypersensitivity to pinaverium or formulation components.

May cause nausea, abdominal pain, constipation, diarrhea, or esophageal irritation.

Tablets should be taken with water and not while lying down to reduce esophageal irritation.

Acts as a calcium channel blocker in gastrointestinal smooth muscle, reducing spasms and pain.

Store at room temperature.
