Uses
Used for the treatment of hypertension and certain cardiovascular conditions requiring blood pressure control.
Do not use if
Contraindicated in severe bradycardia, cardiogenic shock, and hypersensitivity to the ingredients.
Side effects
May cause dizziness, fatigue, headache, flushing, bradycardia, or peripheral edema.
Warnings
Do not discontinue abruptly without medical advice. Monitor blood pressure and heart rate regularly.
How it works
Atenolol is a beta-blocker and nifedipine is a calcium channel blocker; together they lower blood pressure and cardiac workload.
