Do not use if

Contraindicated in hemochromatosis, iron storage disorders, hypervitaminosis A or D, and hypersensitivity to any component. High-dose vitamin A should be avoided in pregnancy.

Side effects

Common side effects include gastrointestinal upset, nausea, constipation, and dark stools due to iron. Fat-soluble vitamins (A, D, E) may accumulate with prolonged excessive intake. Selenium toxicity (selenosis) can occur with very high doses.

Warnings

Keep out of reach of children. Iron overdose is a leading cause of fatal poisoning in young children. Do not exceed recommended doses to avoid toxicity from fat-soluble vitamins.

How it works

Iron supports hemoglobin synthesis and oxygen transport. Zinc, copper, and selenium act as cofactors for antioxidant enzymes. B-vitamins are coenzymes in energy and nucleic acid metabolism.
