Uses

Used for treatment of Parkinson's disease, particularly in patients experiencing end-of-dose wearing-off symptoms.

Do not use if

Contraindicated with nonselective MAO inhibitors, narrow-angle glaucoma, and hypersensitivity to components.

May cause dyskinesia, nausea, dizziness, somnolence, orthostatic hypotension, and hallucinations.

May cause sudden sleep episodes, psychiatric symptoms, and severe dyskinesia.

Levodopa replenishes dopamine, carbidopa reduces peripheral metabolism, and entacapone prolongs levodopa action by COMT inhibition.

Store at room temperature in original packaging.
