Uses

Used for bacterial infections of the eye or ear associated with inflammation responsive to corticosteroids.

Do not use if

Viral or fungal infections of the eye or ear and hypersensitivity to tetracyclines or corticosteroids.

Local irritation, burning, blurred vision, allergic reactions, and secondary infections may occur.

Prolonged use may increase the risk of glaucoma, cataracts, or secondary infections.

Oxytetracycline inhibits bacterial protein synthesis, while hydrocortisone reduces inflammation and immune responses.

Store as directed by the manufacturer and protect from contamination.
