Uses
Used to reduce elevated intraocular pressure in open-angle glaucoma and ocular hypertension.
Do not use if
Contraindicated in sinus bradycardia, advanced AV block, cardiogenic shock, overt heart failure, and hypersensitivity.
Side effects
May cause transient eye discomfort, blurred vision, tearing, or local irritation.
Warnings
Systemic beta-blocker effects may occur after ophthalmic administration. Monitor patients with cardiac disease.
