Uses

Relief of seasonal allergic rhinitis symptoms including nasal congestion, sneezing, runny nose, itchy eyes, and other allergy symptoms in adults and adolescents.

Do not use if

Hypersensitivity to desloratadine, loratadine, pseudoephedrine, narrow-angle glaucoma, urinary retention, or concurrent MAOI use.

Side effects

May cause insomnia, nervousness, headache, dry mouth, dizziness, palpitations, or increased blood pressure.

Warnings

Use cautiously in cardiovascular disease, hypertension, diabetes, hyperthyroidism, or prostatic enlargement.

How it works

Desloratadine is a selective H1-antihistamine. Pseudoephedrine is a sympathomimetic decongestant that reduces nasal congestion.

Storage

Store at 15–30°C. Protect from moisture and excessive heat.
