Uses

Tyrosine kinase inhibitor used for Philadelphia chromosome-positive leukemias and selected other malignant disorders.

Do not use if

No absolute contraindications are listed, but hypersensitivity and severe adverse reactions require caution.

Edema, nausea, muscle cramps, rash, fatigue, cytopenias, and liver toxicity may occur.

Monitor for fluid retention, cytopenias, hepatotoxicity, and cardiac complications.

Inhibits BCR-ABL and other tyrosine kinases, reducing malignant cell proliferation and promoting apoptosis.

Store at room temperature in the original container.
