Uses

Used for the treatment of hypertension and certain cardiovascular conditions requiring calcium channel blockade.

Do not use if

Hypersensitivity to nicardipine or severe aortic stenosis.

Headache, flushing, dizziness, edema, or palpitations may occur.

Use cautiously in patients with heart failure or significant cardiovascular disease.

Dihydropyridine calcium channel blocker that relaxes vascular smooth muscle and lowers blood pressure.

Store at room temperature.
