Uses

Moisturizing and skin-barrier repair cream used for dry, chapped, and sensitive skin. Suitable for nursing mothers to soothe and protect nipples during breastfeeding.

Do not use if

Hypersensitivity to lanolin (wool alcohol) or any component of the formulation.

Side effects

Allergic contact dermatitis to lanolin may occur in lanolin-sensitive individuals. Otherwise generally well tolerated.

Warnings

Safe for topical use during breastfeeding; the nursing infant does not need to be exposed to residue. Avoid in patients with known lanolin sensitivity.

How it works

Lanolin is a natural emollient that closely mimics the skin's own lipid barrier, preventing transepidermal water loss. Allantoin promotes cell proliferation and keratolytic softening. Panthenol is converted to pantothenic acid in the skin, supporting epithelial repair. Vitamins C and E are antioxidants. Wheat germ oil provides tocopherols and essential fatty acids.

Store at room temperature below 25°C. Avoid freezing. Keep in the original container.
