Used as adjunctive treatment of acute diarrhea in adults and children.

Do not use if

Hypersensitivity to racecadotril or formulation components.

Headache, nausea, rash, and hypersensitivity reactions may occur.

Not a substitute for rehydration therapy. Monitor for severe or persistent diarrhea.

Antisecretory agent that reduces intestinal fluid secretion without affecting motility.

Store at room temperature.
