Uses
Treatment of susceptible moderate to severe bacterial infections including intra-abdominal, urinary, skin and respiratory infections.
Do not use if
Hypersensitivity to carbapenems, beta-lactams, or formulation components.
Side effects
Diarrhea, nausea, infusion-site reactions, headache.
Warnings
Serious allergic reactions and seizures may occur in susceptible patients.
