Uses
Short-term intravenous treatment of acute decompensated heart failure under close monitoring.
Do not use if
Hypersensitivity to milrinone or formulation components.
Side effects
Ventricular arrhythmias, hypotension, headache, and infusion-related reactions may occur.
Warnings
Requires cardiac monitoring due to risk of serious arrhythmias. Not established for prolonged treatment.
