Uses

Used for treatment of susceptible systemic and superficial fungal infections.

Do not use if

Contraindicated in hypersensitivity to itraconazole and with certain interacting medications.

Nausea, abdominal pain, headache, dizziness, elevated liver enzymes, and rash may occur.

May cause or worsen heart failure and hepatotoxicity. Monitor for drug interactions and liver function abnormalities.

Triazole antifungal that inhibits fungal ergosterol synthesis and disrupts cell membrane integrity.

Store at 15–30°C in a light-resistant container.
