Uses

Used for treatment of susceptible urinary tract infections and certain bacterial infections.

Do not use if

Contraindicated in patients with hypersensitivity to norfloxacin or other quinolones.

May cause nausea, diarrhea, headache, dizziness, and abdominal pain.

Fluoroquinolones may increase the risk of tendon injury, neuropathy, and CNS adverse effects.

Norfloxacin inhibits bacterial DNA gyrase and topoisomerase IV, preventing bacterial replication.

Store at room temperature in a dry place.
