Uses
Used for inflammatory conditions such as asthma, allergic rhinitis, inflammatory bowel disease, and other corticosteroid-responsive disorders depending on formulation.
Do not use if
Contraindicated in patients with hypersensitivity to budesonide or formulation components.
Side effects
Oral candidiasis, hoarseness, headache, nausea, adrenal suppression, and increased infection risk may occur.
Warnings
Long-term use may cause adrenal suppression, hypercorticism, and increased susceptibility to infections.
