Used to prevent organ transplant rejection and to treat selected autoimmune disorders.

Do not use if

Contraindicated in patients with hypersensitivity to cyclosporine or formulation components.

May cause nephrotoxicity, hypertension, tremor, gingival hyperplasia, and increased infection risk.

Monitor kidney function, blood pressure, and infection risk during therapy.

Cyclosporine inhibits calcineurin, reducing T-cell activation and immune responses.
