Uses

A topical anti-acne preparation used to reduce acne lesions and blemishes. The formulation combines antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, and antimicrobial ingredients to target acne pathogenesis.

Do not use if

Hypersensitivity to any component, especially propolis or bee products. Avoid contact with eyes and mucous membranes. Not for use on open wounds.

Side effects

Potential for localized skin irritation, dryness, or mild allergic reactions at the application site. Propolis may cause contact dermatitis in susceptible individuals.

Warnings

For external use only. Avoid prolonged contact with sun without sunscreen, as some components may increase photosensitivity. Discontinue use if irritation worsens.

How it works

NDGA (nordihydroguaiaretic acid) is a potent antioxidant and 5-lipoxygenase inhibitor with anti-inflammatory and anti-seborrheic properties. Oleanolic acid has anti-inflammatory, antibacterial, and sebum-regulating effects. The osmotic gel acts as a vehicle enhancing penetration. Propolis contains flavonoids and phenolic compounds with antimicrobial activity against Cutibacterium acnes.
