Uses

Alpha-amylase preparations are used in some markets as adjunctive therapy for inflammatory conditions, swelling, or respiratory tract disorders. Evidence supporting systemic anti-inflammatory effects is limited.

Do not use if

Contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to alpha-amylase or formulation components.
