Uses

This combination is used in hair care formulations, primarily as a conditioning shampoo or cream. It cleanses the hair, reduces static, improves manageability, moisturizes the scalp and hair shaft, and provides antioxidant protection.

Do not use if

Avoid use if hypersensitivity to any component is known. Not for ophthalmic use.

Side effects

Sodium lauryl ether sulphate may cause scalp irritation or dryness with frequent use. EDTA and DEA-based surfactants may rarely cause contact sensitization in predisposed individuals.

Warnings

For external use only. Avoid contact with eyes; rinse thoroughly with water if contact occurs. Discontinue use if skin irritation develops.

How it works

Sodium lauryl ether sulphate is an anionic surfactant that cleanses by micelle formation. Coconut diethanolamine is a foam booster and viscosity enhancer. Panthenol (provitamin B5) is absorbed into the hair shaft, improving moisture retention. Vitamin E provides antioxidant protection. EDTA acts as a chelating agent stabilizing the formulation.

Store at room temperature below 30°C, away from direct sunlight. Keep container tightly closed.
