Uses
Used diagnostically to assess adrenal cortical function and in selected endocrine disorders.
Do not use if
Contraindicated in patients with hypersensitivity to tetracosactide or ACTH-related products.
Side effects
May cause hypersensitivity reactions, flushing, blood pressure changes, or injection-site reactions.
Warnings
Use cautiously in patients with asthma or allergic disorders due to risk of hypersensitivity.
