Uses
Used in osteoporosis and disorders associated with abnormal bone resorption.
Do not use if
Hypersensitivity to etidronate or severe esophageal abnormalities.
Side effects
Abdominal pain, nausea, diarrhea, and musculoskeletal pain may occur.
Warnings
Adequate calcium and vitamin D intake may be necessary during therapy.
